Help with IT Graphics and Links

  bubbsboy:

  Scott, i downloaded Windows 10 a while back and since then i cant use my hyperdesktop. Ive uninstalled it and installed it loads of times, to no avail. I can take screenshot but then its stating "cant get link to server", am i missing something basic. Cheers

  I don't use Win10 (I have it on another partition but I don't like or use it much) or Hyperdesktop, but is your antivirus or firewall blocking it perhaps?

  Looked mate and cant see a block anywhere. I may start using something else instead, cheers

  But its stopped me posting stupid pics on our forum.........so its cheered some up lol

  Lol. I've heard that Postimage is quite good for posting stuff quickly and efficiently, so that might be worth looking at.  : )

  I do not use Win 10 but, are the pics stored locally on your PC or on a Cloud server?

  If they are on your PC, you should be able to upload to http://postimage.org/ just by browsing to the folder where you have them stored.

  If the pics are on a Cloud, I'd think that you would need to navigate/browse your way there first to upload to the hosting site.

  Thanks for both above. I will have a scout about as my head can often be found in the cloud. And will have a look at that other site.

  Thanks all for the help will let you know how i get on with the link have to construct my wall post first.

  I hope you do not mind me bringing up a WGT issue just started today in this thread.

  I have just appointed another director and have given him in my owners tools options permission to set up tournaments. But for some reason he is not getting the CREATE NEW TOURNAMENT option in the club tournament drop down list. Can anyone help me with this, is it a known WGT issue.

  This is new to me, never seen it in the Forum. I haven't changed the "Create tournament" option, so anybody except Recruits can do it, and they do! So, they must have that option...

  Perhaps it helps for him to log out, close all browser windows, re-open and log in?

  I do have my permissions set as you do ,anyone with member or above status can set up a tournament it was just my poor wording above which confused you.

  Our other director has been able to set up tournaments. The problem director is not a PC user playes on a tablet could it be to do with that?. He has logged in and out and i have tried re setting his club status to see if this would correct it but it did not work.

  I may need to contact customer support to see if this is some new problem unless any one else has any ideas..

  Have found out via customer support non PC users can not set up tournaments part of the cross platform support issue.

  Have been having ago trying to sort out the links issue . Thanks for the video was able to follow it I have created my post copied the URL and pasted the link to a members wall. What i want to do is link the post to every members wall excuse me for being thick but I cannot seem to find out how to copy and paste the link ;am I missing something copy and pasting the link just does not seem to work. Or will i have to do it seperatly for each member.
