was the deviation turned up today

  Noticed many dinged shots ending up poor. Missed 3 and 4 footers with dings that immediately jumped off line. Of course, the miss dings turn out well.

   

  Wondering if something changed that increased the deviation

  So, you posted this right after holing out on Merion 14 for eagle (166 yards)?

  that hole out came after a 4 footer on 13 came off the club face beyond dead and never touched the hole, lol

   

  also had a 3 footer at Royal #10 that is supposed to break right to left that somehow went the other way and lipped out.

   

  Just seeing a few strange things today

  OK... I'm coming here after a 1 under BIRDIE 25 at RSG

   

  One I did not deserve. Twice I hit AWFUL 3 irons only for the deviation to bring it close. 

   

  Of course, it makes up for some of the fun and games I experienced in the champion tier monthly open. Ball somehow stayed long on #8. The ball mysteriously stopped on the back fringe after being halfway up the hill. Had putts jumping off line there.

   

  Glad to get some good deviation for a change. I'm sure that will be the end of that for a month or two

  this guy is in denial! seriously?? yea wgt can really screw around with rounds, and quite often.
