Arrogant Player

  Together with two others, I played with a Legend player who turned out to be obnoxious by calling us "old ladies" every time we shoot slow but within the designated time frame. I told him that if he is in a hurry, he should just leave the game and leave us in peace. He called me names.

  How do you deal with such arrogant and obnoxious player other than avoiding him?

  I'm sorry to hear about your run in with this player. The best way to deal with players like these are to take screenshots, block the player, then send your screenshots and their username to customer service.

  I've found "Nice putt, Alice. Does your husband  play too?" does the trick. Both here and on the course.

  In "real life," "Where'd you get that hitch in your swing?" works even better.

  Or, "Next time I'll hold your purse/beer" when I hit it short.  Cream of the scum.  Maybe WGT should like of a trophy for the most arrogant player.  Right now I can come up with the only name that deserves it.  God's gift to WGT golf.

  The best tactic - ignore whatever they type in chat and take screen shots of what they type. Forward the screen shots to CS as suggested above.

  And what will CS do?  A slap on the wrist?  A time out int the corner?  Should ban for 6 months or for life???  They wouldn't do that & lose $$ from that player from the pro shop.  None of these will happen, so we just have to deal with them.

  Good idea, fuzzy!!  throw stones at them & beat the with sticks!.  Love your thinking.  I still have a Louisville slugger I haven't used in years.  Would be nice to swing it a few times for old times sake at my age.

  Any response at all means they win, only reason they do it is to get an advantage because their game is weak....why even read the chat when it heads in that direction lol.
