Shot/putter pals are ruler masks placed over your meter.

    What do you mean?

If shot/putter pals are disappearing when you're setting the power on your backstroke, it sounds like a flash problem. Try clearing your flash (and also browser) caché then close and re-open your browser. If it's still the same you could try another browser,

That's all I can think of.

you don't  understand, when i pull back on meter to take my shot . it goes off  before i want it to. 10 ft putt goes off at 2 ft ?.   not by me >

Shots are automatically released after +/- 15 secs, but you need not respond. You may repeat the meter pull infinitely without damage in solo games.

either your are holding the mouse too long. As Alosso said the meter releases after 15 seconds. Or you have a worn out mouse. As many times that we click and hold the mouse button playing WGT even the best mice can wear out fairly quickly.

I think we are getting confused by what you mean when you say "goes off"   or it could just be me.  LOL

Are you saying the putter pal/shot pal  turns off as you drag back the meter for the shot?   or   Do you mean the meter moves toward the ding like you let go of the mouse button but you didn't?

Either way, I think the answers were given above for both possibilities.
