    Hi

Really like this site for the most part but I'm a little tired of some the profanity & rude remarks I've been receiving by some players. I joined in April of this year & I made Legend in 42 days, 291 ranked rounds. I've never played this game before that or even heard of the site. Most players are all right with that & compliment me, but there are some who have been calling me an F' cheater & other nice names. When I say how have I cheated they can't answer but continue with the nasty remarks.

Anyway I have done nothing wrong & I'm sick of the abuse. Is swearing & cursing tolerated here & is there anything I can do?

    Thanks for listening.

Ok here`s why they treat you the way they do . You joined April 19 2016 and then you made Legend on May 31 . They berate you because they dont see you as a legitimate Legend . You hammered out your rounds on Pebble f 9 so you havent earned it in their eyes . The fact that you had the knowledge to do this in such a short period of time also may say that you are a restart to them as well .

You will find that by doing this you have really cut your own throat . You are about to find out what you missed by becoming a rocket Legend if that is indeed what you are . So this is a situation that you created not saying that they are right for treating you this way . I`m just trying to explain some of the reasons why .

If they post ugly comments on your wall then take a screen shot of the post and then send it to WGT and they will deal with them . You can go into your account and block players from posting on your profile to limit the contact as well .

I agree with Lonnie insofar as many players find it hard to believe someone can progress quickly without prior knowledge.

I know when I joined I had no idea what I was doing!

But great clubs are available to lower levels these days, and progression can be rapid, which may be good for the short term bottom line for WGT, but many of these players will lose interest when they stagnate in terms of improvement.

By playing one course you are missing out on the diversity of the site and the types of shots and course management skills required to negotiate each course. They are very different!

Try and play with friends or CC Members and these comments will disappear.

Choice is yours but you say you really like this site. You may like it more if you play other than PB.

Again, choice is yours but at some point you will play another course and the TP who plays other courses will beat you, at least he wont then call you a cheat........but you might think that of him.

Well, surprise, surprise !! He's still hitting only Pebble Beach. Lonnie gave him some first class advice and he has chosen to ignore it.

Maybe he'd like to play a round at Chambers Bay in moderate winds, from the parking lot tees ! That would show him what being a legend is all about ! But there again he wouldn't accept the challenge, afraid to lose !

He's playing normal ranked rounds, not CC rounds, so he is hitting from legend tees.

Thanks for the good advise! What I really wrote about was the nasty comments from people. I will take screenshots when it happens. I am friendly & polite with people & I just expect the same.

As for the rest of the comments thanks but I have my own plan. I've only been playing for 60 days & I will get around to the other courses. I'm enjoying what I'm doing right now. Sorry if it doesn't measure up to what others might expect someone to do.

    Cheers

You have the right idea. Enjoy the game and don't think about the ones that don't like it.
