Ultraglide: we are top because of our dedication and pride
And because you outbid the rest in the Clash auction. Cause that's what clashes are. With the slight difference, that the rest of the bidders still need to pay their bids ;-)
Nothing wrong with that, if that's your cup of tea.
firetrucky: Until there is a change in the rules then all the other clubs will be chasing them
Well, I've always said that 30 quality players, with time on their hands, would win this hands down. 10 players playing in rotation every 3rd clash for 4 hours straight, spending around 3500 credits each (105k team total).
But why on earth would anyone even want to do that ;-)
I wrote in another thread that clashes are a perfect "competition" for all players, who have no hope of winning an actual skill based competition. Cause here they can pull together (not without a cost, of course) and feel like winners. It's in human nature to try to be good at something. That's why CCs engage in the "weekly XP race" (which is nothing but a meaningless stat from a competition standpoint), clashes (auction) and that's why titles like "The world's biggest frying pan" exist ;-)
firetrucky: in my opinion, these clashes is not what grades how good a country club is
Every person with a working brain agrees with you.
firetrucky: I tip my hat to the Georgian for spending the money, and to their members that take their time to maintain that top position!
Agreed, like I said, clashes, while pointless in most aspects, serve their purpose and one can only admire their dedication...
