I have seen this more than once so there is definitely a bug on this spot of the Golf course..

I was on the fringe 16 feet from the hole 10 inches above the hole..The caddie gave me the putter @ the 90 foot scale.. I dropped down to the 15 foot scale and proceeded to hit a putt which would go about 8 feet.. It barely moved.. I hit it again.. same result.. After hitting it a 3rd time the ball moved enough to barely get on the green.. Now the Caddie gave me the 30 ft scale so I know it was on the green... I hit it again, and once agin it moved like an inch..

Finally, I decided to blast it and it went about 10 feet past the hole..

As I said, I have seen this problem at least one other time on Kiawah #13 fringe (same spot), so is DEFINITELY an issue..

    Here is the replay..

    Thanks..

The bug is on every fringe,  using less than 10' of power the ball will move nowhere more often than not.

We've been begging for AGES!! for them to fix this.  It is the only aspect of gameplay that is flat out wrong.

Tx BnB...Is the only solution to blast it by the hole..?

Only solution is to neglect the most logical shot (putting) in favor of chip/pitch/flop until WGT finally fixes it.

It's rather discouraging to hear that this glaring bug has existed for quite some time, yet the WGT folks have done NOTHING to fix it..I guess the money keeps rolling in, so why should they bother to pay their code-writers to fix obvious defects with the product?

WGTicon et al,I hate to sound so negative, but I have to call a spade a spade..

BNB... 1 last question.. can you give me a tip on how to chip a 16' shot from the fringe, that is 10" downhill?

    poke-n hope?
