    I've had 2 like that, one at Merion, the other at Cabo. Feels like a boot in the haw maws when it happens.

    I've had something similar happen to me which is why I always take the pin out on approach shots.

    Did you sink the putt btw ?

    Unsympathetic bar stewards the lot o' ye!

    Had it happen before too - usually hear a sound as ball lands though?

    Convinced I'd taken the pin out as well... hmm cannae remember tbh.

    Weird question, Willie - well, given that we've never played.   :)

    Well I see they fixed replays to where we see the ball the player uses and not what we have loaded in our own setup.

     

    Made me think of this though.  :)

    you might well have taken the pin out

    all replays show the pin in regardless of whether you take it out or not
