I've been playing Ready-Go tourneys for ages now and today noticed that the entry fee is a lie.  Apparently you charge 20% (70 credits) instead of what is posted (50 credits).  I looked in the rules and it does not state that there is an additional charge before entering the tournament.  Very misleading and dishonest WGT!

How do you come to these numbers?

Are you talking about the one played on June 19th where you played a 35, finished as shared 29th and earned 25 cr?

It's a 50 cr tournament, so your account should show -50 cr spendings. True?

50*50 crs entry fee gives 2,500 cr. The FAQs state that 80% are payed out, that's 2,000 cr. That means that the rake is 20%.

The addition of all payouts results in 19.98 $ which is the fake representation of 1,998 cr. Thus, from this side, everything is o.k.

Where's the fault? And how would 70 cr, described as 20% (of what?) come into play?

You've made a mistake Gerry, I played in that rg and the entry fee was 50c.  The rake is taken from that.

As alosso suggests above if wgt charged you 70c that would be worse than you stated, an extra 40%.  I too am pretty sure they didn't.

    Gerryniswonger,

Click on your account tab then click transactions and there you will find what they took for credits for your entry fee from your account.

I just played one and checked it out and this they charged me to play in it:

    2016-06-20 Entry fee for Congressional B9 Ready Go Ready-Go Tournament (ID#: 99693) Ready-Go Entry

    -50 Cr

    Hope this helps you out.
