  Where are they   are these the ones that colst 500 to enter..I heard u win actual items instead of credits..Is that true

  Was discussed here.  Very disappointing.  I know for me personally when I was just getting started 2 years ago the real prizes were a big motivator to improve my game and spend $ buying clubs.  Perhaps one reason they did this was all the multiaccounters/sandbaggers preying on the lower tiers.  If that is the case they could have left the real prizes for legends.  I'm guessing it was just a cost cutting measure tho.

  Prior to this month you could win actual prizes in these tourneys but they changed it this month.  Now you will have to win 8 Monthly Tier Opens to win what you could in 1 before.

  I've made the suggestion to WGT that they keep actual prizes for the Legend tier premiums but let credits remain as prizes for lower tiers.  IMO, this would go a long way to solving the sandbagging issue because there would actually be a reward for reaching Legend tier.

  If the above is not feasible, then it would be nice for WGT to adjust the cost of items in the Elite Collection so you could get a $250 gift card for 100k credits instead of 165k.  WGT would still make a sizable profit but Elite Collection items would be much more attainable for many while increasing cash flow for WGT.  No telling how many credits are tied up with people who have between 60-80k.  Attainable Elite Collection prizes would free up these credits in limbo because many more people would be able to give them back to WGT instead of hanging them up in cyberspace for greater periods of time.

  I'm not a Legend myself - nowhere near! - but I would agree with Jake to keep real prizes other than credits for the Legend tier.  One might say that's unfair on the lower tiers, but what's fair about creating a new account and wiping the board at a lower tier with the best equipment???  Once a sandbagger reaches Legend status they are back where they started, and if they win there then they deserve it, sandbagger or not.  And for those legitimate lower tier players - those prizes should be earned; improve your game to the highest level and maybe you can then reap those rewards.

  Oh my Tess, 85,000!!!  Seriously!!!  Sounds more like a chip stack in poker!  Have you tried hitting some of those Callaways into the weeds?  Can soon make a dent in that number.

  On a serious note, maybe WGT could consider trading credits for some of those prizes mentioned above, but not the sort of numbers seen in the Elite Collection; something more attainable.  This again I would limit to Legends only so as to discourage sandbagging.
