Yiannis1970: That is absolutely incredible...i am trying desperately to upload this d%^&%$^#%^#@% video.
You have 2 posts this 1 and on page 5 about Xsplit.
Xsplit known as sh**split free version is horrible and the payed version is not much of an improvement.
My recommendations on free software to use would be OBS/ Open Broadcast Software you can record MP4 files and steam. A quick video of the quality below full 1080p widescreen

To your above question.
Yes AVI is supported by YouTube but many people have issues with uploading this file type are you getting an error called (doesn’t recognize AVI video)
AVI is a container format. The video and audio streams stored in
different AVI files may be encoded in different ways. However, YouTube
just only recognizes the specific way that the audio and video streams
of AVI files are encoded in. So, if your AVI files can’t be accepted by
YouTube, it may probably be the video & audio codec problem. What’s
more, AVI is usually too bigger than 10 minutes, it won’t be loaded.
Quick fix for this is you`ll need to change the AVI into MP4 it is very easy to do google search video converter. Or this link:

If these don`t work try the google search. Yes feel your frustration when it comes to waiting X amount of time waiting for a video to upload and an issue comes up.
Side note: When i search and watch WGT videos on YouTube you have those large black sections right-hand and left-hand side of the video to me it doesn`t look good. Sony Vages Pro, Camtasia Studio 8 allows you to drag and widen the video so all you see is the game itself. Both editing software are around $300 to $400 mark BUT!!! if you don`t want to pay you can quite easy get the full version for free on youtube search (full versions free) and follow the steps.
