Rapture irons

  I just bought a set of the Ping Rapture irons.  I have only played a few games with them  but it seems to me like the 7 iron does not  perform as well as the other irons.  Has anyone else noticed this or am I nuts.  It doesn't sem to travel the distances advertised...

  This issue was suppose to be fixed a few weeks ago, but you're right as it still doesn't seem to go the right distance !

  As of January 17, 2010:

  The Ping V2 7-iron (graphite) still doesn't go the correct distance.

  The Ping V2 PW (graphite) was also a club in this set that did not go its listed distance up until a few days ago.  It seems to be right on now.  There was no official update by WGT yet,  so I don't understand what happened.

  they didn't fix anything, the raptures are still garbage, waist of  $$

  Wish I had seen this thread before I wasted $14 on them. I never know if they are going to be short or long. Very frustrating

  its both the 6 and 7 iron that are not right the 7 iron only goes 145 yards on full spin it should go 150 at full spin and the 6 iron only goes 150 yards it should be 165 at full spin and the trajectiry is wrong has well all the other clubs in the set only lose 5 yards on full spin I just reported this bug now waiting for a answer

  No one with a sane mind plays with the Rapture anything anymore. Fact of life.

  my 6, 7 and pw goes the distance stated.
