    K7JBQ:
    Once again, bad idea.

This sums it up - in match play you can shoot a double bogey and still win a hole....

What these guys is asking for is a stroke play round with a cut line......so if that is what you want, do not play brackets.

Part of the WD in brackets is caused by the time it takes to fill a bracket, especially in speed brackets. Yes players WD due to a bad round....well more incentive to finish.

Personally I would rather shoot low and lose than play badly and advance. Treat brackets as a fun format....and if you get through it is a bonus.

As regards the OP by lucky the scores being put in by that Avatar will mean they will always struggle.  What has been said elsewhere about how to box clever a bit with them is also good advice.

As also said cut lines will not happen because....drum roll...it's MP.

No clue what the OP usually plays with but the current bag will not be a help at L Tier.

I did have a quick look through some names in those brackets (L and Pro Tier) and OMFG that's bandit territory.  Certain guy who only joined Sept , name sounds like the affable young guy who won two majors last year, has played Bird from this thread twice in a credits final.  Not sure why Birds score does not show?  Good shooting from both as Bird only recently started playing again......

My few withdrawals in brackets were simply because I didn't have time to play the round

One with the anagram probably has bigger teeth though ;)

The Only thing I dont like is you never see your own score til the end. You can see everyone else's score but your own...I think it is kind of ridiculous to leave us hangin for so long when you know both parties have played the round. The final score is the worst, cause you never see the bracket. The only way is to look on your profile and see if you won. If you actually lost you can never find out how much you lost by.

Not true. you can see your score at the moment both you and your opponent played the round. if you played it and you can't see it, it means the other guy hasn't played yet. If you can see scores from other pairings, it's just because both people in that pairing have played the round.

You can see every bracket by clicking on your score in your score history, doesn't matter if you won or lost. Wth are you talking about?

The main problem from a Club point of view is the inability to place players in specific slots, and the inability to start a bracket with less than 16 players.

This would allow, e.g. Club championships, to be played between selected players, and not a full 16.

The best innovation, and most unlikely, would be for opponents to be able to select a mutually convenient match-play time...

WGT does have brackets where the plyers are seeded. They are tiered brackets. They don't have as many of them as the open brackets, probably because they fill so slowly.

Tiered brackets are not seeded. That's not what seeded means.
