    Hey Everyone,

I've been on here for several years now, and I love the game. I've dumped more than my fair share of money into the equipment I own and even premium balls, but now I'm considering going back to starter balls (which I used for awhile when this same problem became pervasive before). This issue only happens about once every 50 shots or so, but it proves too costly, both in strokes (the reason I'm posting is it happened again and ruined my best round I've ever had at St. Andrews) and in premium balls (the late swing causes my ball to go OB). I've addressed the issue with WGT, who understandably are primarily interested in throwing a robotic list of cures and not going beyond that level of assistance, to no avail (clearing cache etc.). Has anyone had the same issue? I click the mouse as the bar approaches the target for aim, and there's split second delay which translates to a huge slice. I have a pretty decked out/top of the line Mac desktop which has ZERO issues with any other online games I have tried and a great internet connection. This is the ONLY issue I have with the game and although I'm not a die hard, I would probably play a lot more on here if I could ever get a complete resolution. Please HELP!

That has been happening to me and a friend of mine. So much to my friend that he learned how to swear like a sailor.. Like you mentioned it doesn't do it all the time,, just at the wrong time, meaning when you need a good shot. Since I can't get any assistance from WGT what I do is "Save and Quit" , log out, clear history and Flash and then restart. That has helped the most. Or start swearing like my friend.

What you're describing doesn't sound like meter zoom. Does it happen with all clubs? Is it ever the putter? If it were a worn out mouse, I'd expect it to happen with more frequency.

Disclaimer: What I'm about to post makes absolutely no sense, but has oddly worked before. No clue why.

I'm unfamiliar with Macs. What kind of port is the mouse plugged into? On PCs just plugging the mouse into a different USB port sometimes helps.

You should try it on a low CPU (pegging at 99%) laptop while streaming on Twitch. Now that's a challenge, but once you get used to it, watch out!

I've had this problem a bit too.  The kicker is normally you'd just let the swing go and try again, however in this instance you actually click and then some 4-5 inches later it registers.  I've also had the problem where I click and am unable to release the swing bar.  At least with this one you don't lose a ball lol (kinda funny really).

This happened to me all the time.  Meter wouldn't stop at all.  After trying a lot of things, i ended up using a wired mouse.  Made the problem almost go away totally.
