My personal best at Cabo has never been lower than a 63. I already have 4 of them since becoming a Tour Master, and I believe I may have had one or two more as a Master as well. I need to shave just one stroke off this score in order to earn the Crystal Cabo Crusher award. Decided to give it a go tonight. I stood on the 18th tee bogey free at -9, thinking I just had to escape with a difficult par and at long last my precious would be mine. Turns out I needed Bird, and I came agonizingly close to getting it.
I know this wasn't the only hole where I gave away a stroke, but it still hurts to come so close yet again, only to fall short. Or in this case, lip out LoL. I did manage to shave a full 0.04 off my average though so I guess this round wasn't a complete bust.
