They paid the credit but yeah, I would have thought they'd give the man a front page article like they've done in the past.

I'm sure that WGT wanted to verify everything and make sure the results were 100% correct but it did seem to take a while.

Congrats to all the winner, the folks in the top 10 and all the folks who played in the Open this year.

WGT - it would seem that you could pump up the prize pool a little, maybe give the top 10 credits, you sell a billion golf balls during qualifying show the top 10 a little love.

After reading the "news" article on WGT's homepage I am more confused then ever.

It mentions a certain virtual golfer winning the front 9 prize..

Didn't this dude have the forums lit up last month?

Sometimes I wonder if WGT's left hand knows what the right one is doing..

    Tugging with both I guess

they should forego the credits for qualifying and provide a 1 million credit purse for the VUSO, with 180K to the winner

That would be about the amount they pay out via qualifying

Yes and  if you look at his profile under the activity it looks like he played 7/1 but he didn't. His score was posted before his ouster and for whatever reason, WGT let it stand.

    Strange.

I wonder if he will still get the prize or if WGT will keep it in consolidated revenue.......

I'll give a bow to Ed as well, I don't know him, but was talking to YJ the other night and wondering why no mention of him being a winner.

But what a great finish to our VUSO.

Mags puts up a ho-hum 60...but for a while, looks like it would hold...you sure know he and AB would like to play that R4 again!

Then UBC comes in and over takes mags by a stroke...wow...solid play right there.

And seems Ed is a real drama queen...and waited till the end to post his 4th straight sub 60 round and eclipse UBC.

    Good Effing stuff right there!

    Well done Ed!!
