Master St Andrews Ready-Go

  I've just started playing Ready-Go's.  Out of the 4  I have played, in 3 of them one person has taken forever to complete their round.  It means that only one STA RG has been available each day.  It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same person each time too.

  WGT - is there any reason why a new RG can't be started as soon as the current one has been filled rather than completed?  I would also like the 12 hour time limit to be reduced too; if someone can't play it when they enter, then they shouldn't play it at all - there will always be others to enter.

  I might be wrong, but whether the last person take 1 hour or 12 to finish the round...the tourney is still over at the same time...i/e 12 hours after the last entry, not 12 hours after last posted score.

  I think tournament is over when last person posts score.  What I am saying is that one person is holding up the proceedings and therefore the start of a new tourney.

  TBF. Next time I enter a RG with 29 mph crosswins on half the holes. and 30 mph blowing in your face, I might pop out for a little walk for a while.

  It's getting a little silly now. Tone it down a tad WGT. It's making it more a lottery than skill.

  Personally, I'm loving these high winds.  I play my best real golf on links courses with lots of wind, and I seem to do the same on WGT, although you can't play the same sort of shots here as you would in real golf.

  I agree. I generally only get to play 2 ready go's a day.  One at St.A and one at Oakmont. Waiting on another one to open now.  It's been over 3 hours since entry list was filled and still waiting on 2 people to finish. You would think WGT would want more of our money and keep the RG's rolling.

  I've been waiting over 7 hours for the current game to finish thanks to 2 players!  One has now finished, but the last is just being an a**h**e!

  Gents,

  Ready go's are paid out whenever there are 50 scores / WD's posted, or 12 hours after filled, which ever comes first.

  LG - it's not the paying out that's the problem, but the fact that another doesn't open because one or two morons are holding the previous one up.  I'd put money on it that it's the same people each time.
