Tee-ing ground

  Yesterday I played a match play game against someone.  It was scored game so that default tees were used for each player (I am a Master, he's a Legend).  We played the back 9 at St Andrews.  The distance from my tee was 298 yards which at the time seemed quite short.

  Later, after the game had finished, I played a WGT tournament, again on the back 9 at St Andrews.  As it was a WGT tournament it was a ranked game and therefore default tees for the tier.  The distance for the 10th hole was over 300 yards; can't remember the exact yardage but may have been 330 yards.

  Is this a bug?  I'd feel bad for winning the match play tournament if I was playing off the wrong tees.

  Hi,

  tees stay the same for each player, but greens are reset to highest level speed

  perhaps he set it up as a practice match play game and if he did you can set it up any way you would like.

  I was going to try getting snapshots for proof, but when I just went into a Match Play game the hole distance was 330yds.  Maybe I was dreaming!  Admittedly, this one was agaisnt a TM and not a Legend.  Next time I'm up against a Legend I'll check again and, if I wasn't going doolally, I'll get a screenshot.
