After complaining about the game play and meter being at fault i discover that it is my anti virus that is causing the problems. I use avg and if i disable it the game plays perfect but i dont want to leave it disabled while i play a round. Any Suggestions????

I use Webroot, and it has a "Gamer Mode" that I turn on and off as needed.  It shuts down some applications that would otherwise interfere with gaming...does AVG have an option like that?

Get Vipre Anti-virus. It uses only 3 MB at all times, and doesn't need to be shut-down to play this game.

AVG doesn't have a silent mode and continuously runs scans causing interruptions with flash objects.

I gave up on AVG a couple of years ago after one of their major upgrades slowed down the booting of my laptop by about 2 minutes!  I now use Sophos and have no problems.

I too have often thought it could be my AV.

I run Avast and although its supposed to have a very small footprint it's constantly working in the background which could be a cause of the jitters.

Would need to do some testing but don't have the time and have gotten used to the stutters now anyway, but interesting all the same.

    Cheers....Nige
