I consider myself pretty good for a tour pro.  I routinely do pretty well but Oakmont is making me want to cry. :D

On hole 2, I had a 17' putt for birdie with a 8" downslope.  I hit it the equivalent of 7' and the ball went 12' past the hole. Wow.  Fortunately, I made a great putt for par.

Course Management is the key, never be above the hole on the 2nd green

If you play it a few times, your reliese where you need to put the ball on the greens when you get used to playing round Oakmont

Somehow, I finished -2 after bogeying the 9th.  I've come to the conclusion that a par on #9 is a miracle for me.  I had a 6' putt for par and the dots were moving so fast, they were blurry. Needless to say, I blew it.

I'll take that score and like it!
