Bye, Bye, Nike Clubs and Balls.

  It's now December 1 and guess what? All the Nike gear is still in the Pro Shop.  Every last bit of it.

  I can hear the folks in marketing laughing from here.

  Perhaps WGT was reluctant to take the site down for a third consecutive night.

  with a clash just starting, there won't be an update for at least 2 days. NIKE for EVERYONE!

  Well WGT certainly suckered me.  I busted my tail watching videos this past month to upgrade all my Nike clubs before "the end of November".  Feeling duped right now.

  i bought all these Nike Balls before December, and now the gear is still available. Oh boy, stupid me lol.

  Same.

  Was mid 70's when the "through November" thing came up, and played my *** off to get to 81 before the end of November.  Dec 3rd, all is still available.    

  If they go away in the next day or two no big deal, but if they stick around for weeks/all of Dec...well that would have been nice to know.

  I don't think your stockpiling effort was wasted at all.  My best guess is that the update with gear to replace the Nike kit wasn't quite ready to roll out as planned -- thus, presto, CC Clash instead.

  Sure has been nice to use those Nike balls a few days longer...

  No, however a couple months after the Nike equipment is no longer available, and they do a software "update" you will see a significant decline in the performance in the Nike equipment you have. Therefore, they you will want to get new irons and putters and make WGT even more profitable!

  That's not true. The Nike equipment will keep the same stats forever. We never change equipment stats.

  Players who have purchased Nike items will not have them removed from their equipment.

  +1 Would be nice if people would check the date on a thread before respoding . Clubs been gone for awhile and this thread was made last year .
