Yeah, I use the free 'notepadtabs' and jot down quick observations. It's easy if you have no prob typing.
My 2 cents:
Playing by feel etc. may be nice but I found it less expensive to play when you make note a certain hole plays short or long. Better than recalling after the fact 'oh my ball landed short and in the water, yet again' (that certain hole on Valhalla is it?)
Almost each hole on wgt, imo has its own idiosyncrasies and I don't have a expert memory.
If you play the same course you may not require notes, also.
