Yardage to the pin doesn't mean a thing. I chip or pitch and ball comes up way short or way long. I just can't figure out that sweet spot distance to hit to get it to w/e distance to hole is. Even wedges a little further off the green, same problem. And don't get me started on bunkers, lol.

Perhaps the most important consideration around the greens is whether you're hitting into an up, down or flat slope. This can be checked by switching camera view to behind the hole and changing the dot indicater.

The flop shot is maddeningly difficult to master, but once you've done so, it's a killer.

    Good luck.

Good advice, particularly about the flop shot. It's the best par saver ever.

One other note: The lie you're hitting from makes a big difference as well. Heavy rough will give you very different results than hitting from the fairway.

Uphill pitches will tend to play much shorter then you expect.  Using bs will pretty much stop the ball from fairways or fringes.  Remember to play the rollout coming out of rough, but still use bs, even tho it doesn't work that well from rough.

Looking at your gear, advise to ditch the hybrid and get another wedge inbetween the 2 you have.

For pitches (full b/s) (in fairway -1 to -1.5y, i.e 10y becomes 9y).  This works for punches and full shots too (full b/s, not subtracting yards), although full shots shouldn't use full b/s expect shorter distances or 40/50.

      - 20/25 % *1.05;  30/40 *1.09;  40/50 *1.125 (only up to around 40-50y)

For sand play (full b/s) :

      - 20/25 % * 1.1;  30/40 *1.27;  40/50 *1.37

    Flops in sand (full b/s):

      -20/25% +2y;  30/40 +8y;  40/50 don't bother (lot's of roll out, but its +12y if you dare).

    Flops in rough (full b/s):

    20/25% +1y;  30/40 +2y - +3y;  40/50 +4 - 5y (but then subtract -3 - 4y for roll)
