Is it possible to hook or slice your drives? If so how do you do it?

unfortunately, this isn't a feature WGT offers at the moment.

Would be incredible to see this in-game in the future :)

it would not matter if you could hook or slice. wgt has so much RNG

in it you are lucky to get the ball to go even close to the target. hopefully people don`t think they are as good as they think they are on wgt. they are not.

Yes, sorta. Missing the ding early is equivalent to pulling the ball and it will go left, like a draw. Conversely, hitting late will approximate a slice and the ball will go right. While these aren't true draws and fades, the results are the same, you just don't see it rendered on your screen. That's why sometimes a ball looks like it goes through a tree when in actuality, it goes around it.

BPB #2 is a good example.  From the tee you can miss the swing early-like to the first line left of the ding-and the drive will appear to go through the tree on the left but it's actually going around it as if you hit a draw.

You can also pick up some nice distance off the tee by aiming into the wind and then missing the ding with the wind on purpose.

The real trick to BPB #2 is to use full backspin on the drive. That will get you through the first tree (almost) every time.

The problem with missing the swing early there is that it's easy to miss the first tree but hit the second one.

A pseudo-hook or -slice is possible by hitting the meter about one line before or after the Ding. The ball may curve around obstacles but they are rare.

BPB #2 is one shot to use the "hook", and OLY #5 is good for the "slice". At other holes, like OLY #10, the ball will usually pass through the leaves untouched.

You'll have to adjust the aimer accordingly!

Try playing that tee shot with full top spin.  You may still hit the monkey tail that hangs down from the tree but aiming slightly to one side of it will give you a safe shot most of the time.

The only things to watch for are running off the left edge of the fairway and hitting the trees on the right beyond the beloved one.  This is only likely to happen of you have a strong left to right wind and don't allow enough for it though.
