Just reached master a few hours ago with a avg round of 66.9.  I played one 9 home round of clash for my country club, shot a 40 (which was bad) and now my avg round score jumped to 80.  Why is that?  I have a ton of rounds played and no way my avg would jump 21 pts in one round.

Every time a player changes tiers their average goes up to reflect the increased difficulty of the new tier.

For your avg that 40 is x2, to reflect an 18 hole round = 80

So if your 2nd ranked round is a 35, x2=70.

    80 + 70 =  150, divided by number of rounds played (2) = 75 avg, and so on...

Take a note of how many ranked rounds you have played at your new tier, then you will know when your avg 'saturates' and tiering up again becomes possible.

    Congrats!
