Apparently WGT has a MSG icon on top of the home page but mine doesnt. Any idea what I can do to get them for I have a ton pending.

The messages icon is above the PLAY NOW button on the left side of every WGT page, if you normally play through Facebook you will not have this option. If you play through WGT.com instead you should receive this option.
