Fairways hit stat

  Not sure this is a bug, but looking at my stats at the end of the round, I'm 'penalized' for  a missed fairway on par 3's (because I hit the green).  This always counts against me on my 'fairways hit' stat.  In 9 holes I hit every fairway, but it only shows 88% because of the par 3.  Fariways should only be counted on the 4 and 5 pars, not par 3's.

  I've never seen it count for Par 3s. My guess is that you hit 3w from the tee on one of those holes. Driving accuracy only counts with the driver. So if you hit 3w, hybrid, 3i etc etc, it will count as a missed fairway

  nope... I hit  7-iron to 10 feet on BPB #8.. hit every other fairway.. yet my fairways hit said 88%... I've seen this a number of times

  You never teed off with 3w? Say on #2 maybe? I've just never seen it not say 100% when I hit driver from every par 4 or 5 tee and land on fway. If not, definitely send a bug report

  I'm sure I've hit 3 wood on some holes, but where I notice the missed fairways are on par 3's.  The times I've hit all fairways except for the par 3's (obviously you can't hit a fairway on those),  my percentage is never 100%.

  Right, but it will always have the missed fway mark(-) next to par 3s because there is no fway. But if you hit any other club than driver off the tee on a par 4 or 5, it counts as a missed fairway regardless of whether or not you hit the fway.

  Not sure I agree with that, but it makes sense.  I'm sure there are holes on each course that, depending on the wind direction, I don't hit driver on.  Thanks!

  Yeah, it sucks definitely. I was scratching my head the first time it happened. But that's what it does. For instance, if you hit 3w on BP #2 from the tee, and hit every other fairway with driver, your stats will show 6/7 fairways hit. Doesn't make much sense, a fairway is a fairway regardless of what club you hit it with.

  CM is right about the 88% thing.  I've seen this often myself (and I've seen 77% and 66% too).  This means you hit 8 of 9 fairways.  Whether there are 1 or 2 par 3's, you can't EVER have 9 in the denominator.....pretty basic math.

  At the same time, if the game is using 9 as the denominator, then you should never be able to hit 100% fairways, and we know that's not the case.

  I think it is a glitch on some 9's, where the game doesn't do the math correctly.

  I'm going to keep track of which 9's this happens on.
