Overall I don't just like this game....I love this game and I'm totally hooked on it. I'm a huge golf fan in real life too of a decent standard.

I don't mind playing in harsh conditions in real life but if the wind's gale force it's more of a slog than anything else and you usually find rounds in those conditions aren't as much fun.

    Pretty well said.

Great round, by the way, and I love the photo!  Were you able to one bounce it across the bridge?  Ha.

I love this game in so many ways.  I do think standard conditions for Ready Gos are critical and some variety of things like green speeds and winds would go a long way.  I have complained about playing the same 9 holes over and over again on the RG's but every time I think of doing something else, I realize I can't turn away.

In fact, this game has gotten me fired up for real life golf again.  I doubt I would ever shoot a 75 in my life but if I can get back to 90, I would be happy!

well i am just home from playing st andrew's again.....this time the Duke's Course...less than a week after playing the old course and the winds were VERY HEAVY....so much so we came off after the 14th green.,,,,easily 35mph winds....and totally horrendous conditions but it had been pre booked costing £100 a round.

80% of my drives got plugged due to the heavy rain and the fairways & greens were a nightmare....slow and wet.

having said that...in the right conditions.....the Dukes Course would be great to play.

Playing the 18 Hole St Andy RG right now. Teed off on #4 into 20 mph headwind. Hit a 262 yrd drive into that little sliver on the right they call a fairway and still had 223 left lol. Hit the R11 240 yrd 3 wood short left bunker. Niiiiice. God I love being a Legend.

Wonderful. Just teeing it up on #8 with pin tucked up front just past bunker with 18 mph tail wind.

I would LOVE to sit and watch the winners of these heavy winded RGs play one time. I have all the respect in the world for them.

had a few practise rounds with some friends and yeh teh 4th is very hard off the back tees, but not impossible, especially if u take ur par

as for 8 what i have learnt off master tees, when having the head wind and tucked up pin is to aim just right of the bunker and try and leave myself around 15-20ft pin high as its a realtive straight putt

    Hope this helps

8 was a tail wind not a head wind. I'd love a head wind there.

Sorry meant tail wind, with a head wind you can go for the pin :-)
