I didn't realize how much I used to interact with Andyson until now. I find myself instinctively thinking "got to ask Andy about that" and realizing he's gone. I miss him tremendously.

He was like a private tutor I could go to to ask technical questions. I always got an educated, relevant answer to just about anything I would ask him and ensuing conversations were always enlightening. We were at odds and on the same plane with this game, if that makes sense.

He was a brilliant mind and a great conversationalist.

Please . It does not matter how many threads were started or who was last to the party .

Any and all threads for Andyson  should be on a good note .

Please do not turn this one around in a bad way just to point a finger .

    OPY

I don't control the one or two buttons it takes to do the right thing. I've said in several threads how I felt about Andyson. We all have.

Many suggestions were put forth to wgt to properly honor Andyson. It would cost them nothing.

I would like to vote Banana .

Hmmm, so we cannot say anything about WGT's lack of action.............but we can vote Banana....

I agree with YJ, I really wanted to contact him recently about an incident........man he is and will continue to be missed.

very funny, the heads used totally defined the thought patterns of andyson,  are there people out there who can identify the dancer with the full face beard?  a real generation gap. my nickle and now everyone eles's.

one of the thoughts i had when i first recognized andyson, and what he was about here in the forums was this.  Probably the best editorial cartoonist who did not appear in a printed form.  my nickle and now everyone else's also.

My favorite Andy (Denny) story.  And, for the record, this is not meant to disparage the person to whom I'm referring.  He and a CC owner here in Az were at odds for quite a while with posts going back and forth regarding earning XP's in C.C's and whatnot. We learned that the CC owner in question lives out on the edge of the Phoenix valley in a town that takes some ridicule along the lines of inbred/Kentucky/NASCAR/rednecks etc (no offense again) and I had relayed to him that this particular town actually has a dirt golf course...yes...all dirt...they have some small mats to tee off from and the rest is basically desert with some occasional mesquite or scrub brush. the "fairways" are dirt and the greens are actually browns...that get raked for smoothness.  We shared a couple of wall posts and then talked at length about how we thought that perhaps there were more people in this particular town than there were teeth.  Silly now, but we both got a hell of a laugh about it.

I keep his last post on that subject on my wall as a reminder......

    Ducati,

I remember that thread and the pictures of the course. I couldn't believe people actually played golf in those conditions. Unreal.

    CT,

I agree with your first post. There have already been so many great threads for all of us to express how we felt about Andy and let WGT know how we think he should be remembered in the future.

If this thread is meant by WGT to be their final tribute to Andy......well, I think it's too little, too late. I think the community has cast their votes on how Andy should be remembered and this wasn't on the ballot.

Very sad WGT if this is your final tribute....but if it's not, what the heck is taking so long!
