A chat window pane in the main menu would be fantastic. This will allow friends to chat prior to creating a game. The chat pane would make the process of waiting a lot easier you will be able to chat and organize a game with not only 1 but a few friends for lets say Alternate shot. Due to people doing things in real life away from the game they would be able to say 'I'll be 10 mins and we can hit off'.... I would rather wait 10 mins to play a friend that doesn't 'Disconnect' or take 5 mins to load every hole, I'm sure there are other people who feel the same.
