  Hi everyone,

  Here are the release notes for last night's product release.

  September 2016 Game Updates

  See what's new on WGT today, including a new panel to analyze your shots and tournaments with shot-clock timers ranging from 10-45 seconds.

  NEW

  • Shot Data Panel - Check out the new Shot Data panel after all your shots (except putts) to analyze your carry, roll, spin, power and apex.
  • Shot-Clock Tournaments - New option for Country Clubs to create tournaments with shot-clock timers ranging from 10 seconds (speed round!) to 45 seconds.
  • WGT will also be running tournaments with variable shot-clock timers, so be sure to give them a try!. In these special shot-clock tournaments, players are assessed a 1-stroke penalty each time the shot clock runs out, and after 3 consecutive times, your game will end.
  • More CC Event Rewards - The top 500 country clubs in CC Events will now earn Superpasses, plus the top 3 finishing clubs will all receive additional prizes, rather than just the top finishing club.

  Fixes and improvements

  • YouTube Uploads in Forums - Users were temporarily having issues uploading YouTube videos in the WGT Forum, which has now been fixed.
  • Pre-Round Training prompt - Fixed a bug where the training swing meter would appear for some users before each round.
  • Blue Screen in CTTH - Some users experienced a blue screen while playing Closest-to-the-Hole games, that would appear after a shot and not allow the player to continue to the next course.
  • Various other bug fixes and improvements to make game play better

  10 second timers!

  More cash clash superpasses, for what.......there aint no rewards for clubs at higher levels, so pointless earning XP up there......only use it to monitor activity myself.

  Top 3 win a prize...........awwww well, the easily led will be happy with that.

  Expanding the Shot Data Panel is a great idea - useful info for peeps who want to up their game. Thanks.

  We still have the bug where the avatar is dangling over the 8th green at Pebble Beach while the shot loads.

  Is Shot Data Panel available in mobile app, too?

  If it's not, will it be anytime soon?

  This feature is something I've been waiting for a longtime.

  Disqualifying people in Shot Clock tournaments is a very lame idea. Give us the option to disable this feature in our own tournaments!!

  BTW What happens to my club pass when I get disqualified?

  BTW Please start actually thinking it through when you design your new features.

  Probably will but personally I am not sure it is a good thing.

  Everything is making the game easier....where does it stop?

  Conversely special shot timers will make it a lottery and with players hitting and hoping....I can imagine complaints from hitting OB/Water and from people getting DQ'ed.

  CC Clubs getting some love? Only if the CC's are willing to pay for it.

  How about not loosing balls if they get OB in a speed tournament? Water is easy enough to spot. So its a valid obstacle. Loosing balls in invisible out of bounds areas is just lame.

  And move the shot length from its extra display to the shot lenght panel if it is activated!!

  Since the update, my scorecard while playing tourneys etc has reverted to the small size that it was last year !

  Not the end of the world, I grant you, but why do WGT bring in these gimmicky features and then mess up something else !!

  They are just beginning to seriously p**s me off !! Just keep the game simple and iron out the annoying bugs and gremlins and then introduce some sensible improvements.

  Perhaps they should consult with club owners and see what they would like to see introduced, many of them have a good knowledge of the game and what their members would like from the game. Now thats a radical idea !!
