NWS everyone...just like all the previous updates...the mods will soon be advising us how to turn them off, or work around them.

At least this update seems less glitch ridden than the last one.:)

Shot clock tournaments, 10 - 45 seconds.... who dreams this stuff up?

This is changing from a realistic golf game to a arcade game, when do we start looking for Pokemon's on the course?

"Shot Data Panel - Check out the new Shot Data panel after all your shots (except putts) to analyze your carry, roll, spin, power and apex".

I'm loving this^ new feature. For us UEL only players this is a great way to see what kind of carry distance we can loose on up hill lie approach shots. Also the roll distances for down hill lies. I used to use the replay feature a lot in trying to learn UEL but now newer players can easily learn on the go.

The Members here. I remember reading folks wanting shot clocks on some WGT stroke play Tourneys. Now we can test it out for ourselves in our CC's. 10 seconds does sound a little short but if not interested just don't play.

    Shot clock tournaments, 10 - 45 seconds.

takes 5 secs to draw back and wait for max ball meter to reach ding line !!!

15 sec comp ?  pure joke.

make it 25 secs when you reset the whole comp ( as there's no clock on restart ) otherwise people will be turned away from short clocks forever, give us a taste first, not ram down the throat ?

    Hi everyone,

Here are the release notes for last night's product release.

    September 2016 Game Updates

See what's new on WGT today, including a new panel to analyze your shots and tournaments with shot-clock timers ranging from 10-45 seconds.

    NEW

    • Shot Data Panel - Check out the new Shot Data panel after all your shots (except putts) to analyze your carry, roll, spin, power and apex.

This new feature could be very useful but how can i find it?

Wow, that 15-second shot timer is a bear! I can't imagine 10 seconds. But I guess everyone is playing against the same monster. You have to cut out about 3/4ths of your ordinary shot preparation. Just carded a blooming 83 on Merion. I'm no Bollox, but that was bollocks!

Shot of the day on a 10 second clock, whats all the fuss about lol

Seriously though 10 seconds is pointless, I play fast but you cant set spin and aimer and power then take the shot in that time. I found myself having to just play off ding, which is fine to a certain extent....

Question. Do you lose ball life if you get a one shot penalty, if so then, well you know the rest lol.

The cheaper balls don't kill off ding shots. Might be something to consider if you have to play one of those speed rounds.

I see a new challenge coming-who can shoot the fastest 9 rounds?  10 second clock, starter ball, shot booster. LOL  2-3 mins maybe?  ;-)
