Days Played Issue

  This morning I attended a board read on the forum.

  Without trying to think I played my daily pass on the first play. 3 practice holes and then I benefited 880 XP bonus.

  This would mean that no matter your intentions or your fitness level, if the CDP is red 1 hole with your daily pass is the bonus is earned.

  but please WGT recover from the order in all this

Some players have reported that everything is working, while clearly that is not the case for all of you. I'm trying to accumulate as much data as possible and independently research the issue alongside our QA and dev teams.

  Edit: I know that didn't directly answer your question. Basically the update was supposed to make it that it wouldn't matter when or if the game was technically finished to extend your CDP, so as long as the game was partially played during the timer it would work.

  Champion I dont know what you and lady chipper are talking about. Because as far as I know you have never been able to start a round before the timer reset and finish it after it reset and have it count toward the CDP bonus. . If people have been able to do that then it was a glitch, And If that short downtime the other night was to make it so you could finish your round after the timer reset and have it count why even have the timer on the game client? I thought the purpose of the timer was so you would know how long you had to finish a round to have it count.

  And if you did make it so that you can finish your round after the timer resets what about  all the people who have lost their days because before they finished their round only minutes after the timer reset?

  If I started before the day change, I did not get my CDP points. Starting after I do. 

  Since this appears to be the case I'm not anxious to test it out and risk losing my CC contribution. 

  Since passes renew after the game starts, it's not a big deal to wait until after the day change to start a game. The day changes at the same time regardless of when one starts to play. I don't need the extra 10 minutes I could gain by starting early (unless I started early by mistake and had to wait until the day change to get my CDP points).

  i play mobile, and am back to 880 points since its been > 6 days since the system messed up. I would like to get the XP points I was denied this week though.

  I just finished an alt shot game @ Chambers, front 9, using my CC pass.

  WGT appear to have fixed the problem.

  The "fix" has not fixed anything for me. 

  Still not getting the points for CDP unless I play a 1 hole practice.

  Occasionally I get the green checkmark for CDP but it is not consistant in if and when it works. 

  Something is really askew fro m the way it was.

  I started a round last night, well after the start of the playing day, but no bonus was awarded and my consecutive days was not extended.

  What was the game format?

  For the last one year and 10 months a group of 4 members of The Peoples Club got on WGT and our internal chat program.  We have started an 18 hole Alt Shot 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the start of the new WGT day (currently that would be in 2 minutes) played until ~5:15pm PDT and we all got our CDP and all got our 880 bonus.

  That was true for 20 months until the September 1st update.

  Again I am asking WGT to just roll back the update from September 1st until they figure this out.

  It might not be for you, but it is for some of us.  Now I have to wait until after 8 PM EDT to start playing and that puts a dent in my evening for sure.  Whereas before I could start at 7:30 PM andfinish a few minutes after 8 PM.  Some days I don't have time until 11 PM to start playing.  Just makes it more difficult.  It will be better when daylight savings time is over though.

  Dead wrong there, Sting. For the longest time I have accumulated the CC XPs AND the CDP through AS games timed to start before the change and finish after. You get 1300-1400 XPs doing it that way. This latest snag has eliminated that. I now have to play single rounds to get what I used to get playing AS.

  @Champion.  You have 24 pages of incidents to analyze. If that isn't enough, step up and say it isn't going to change and that  this is going to the bottom of the fixit list because you know  it's headed there.
