" a little bit" is an understatement !!!!!!!!             It would have been nice if you sent notification of this "little bit" BEFORE you initiated it

that little bit was just as far as XP goes. it would've been nice yes if WGT sent that notice prior to this mess. i only tested the theory they gave me right after i read the notice.

With all the other frustrating issues with WGT....this, CDP thing is important?  LMFAO

    GitUsummaDis:

I got this.. from the members email.

"Our most recent update changed a little bit of how XP is given out in games. To extend your streak you now only have to hit your first shot in a game and you will be awarded your bonus XP and extend your daily streak. However, if the game is not completed, you may not see the bonus XP card at the end of the round, I would suggest keeping an eye on your personal XP and club contributions (when you use a club pass) so you can see you're receiving the bonus. Please note that as this is now calculated at the first stroke of a round, the time that the round completes does not factor into the days played bonus. I bring this up as many players were timing their round to end right after the 24 hour timer reset for days played, which will not work now as the round is counted at the first stroke. Additionally, because this is counted at the first stroke, you will not need to complete a round for this to count. In rounds that you receive the days played bonus but do not complete the round, you may not see the days played bonus card but it is added to your account."

    Thank you G!

A profound official statement with all the required information - wonder why they didn't post it publicly, here or to the update notice...?

Instead, user action is neccessary to make it known...

Shows to me the amount of thought and care given to their customers :(

I'm hope that at least some of you. Check your XP before and after you take that first shot to make sure you're getting that, 880xp bonus as in my case, or however much you're suppose to get. Sometimes it does'n show at the end of a round. Maybe on the next frustrating update they do it will. LOL

    Cheers!

    +1

I'm still not convinced that the CDP is given in all situations and all game formats - e.g. as 2nd, 3rd, 4th in an A/S.

Yet, I hope (*) that the green tick reflects the situation correctly.

(*) a miracle, coming from me who always insists that "Hope is futile, they are WGT."

I have missed my CDP bonus three times now. First shortly after the last update while playing a multiplayer game. Second a few weeks later don't recall the specific game and again last night while playing a single player club tournament. It sucks enough that gaining a level takes 4-5 months but to screw us out of exp that is earned is even worse. Just another ploy to have us buy golf balls.

BTW last nights game started a full hour after the cutoff. So don't give me the "you started too soon" BS

What else do you want to hear?

I believe your facts but not your conclusion.

I finally figured out I had to start game after start of UTC new day.  This is big deal for those of us on US East Coast, because it is right in our evening prime time.

But they are still not awarding the 880.

Tonight, I started 18 hole round, after 8 PM EDT, with cc xp bonus in play.  Disastrous 3rd hole, I get pissed off and quit round.  OK, I get it, I ff'd any contribution to club.

So, now, I decide to do 1 hole practice round ... play it ... WGT gives me the credit for the CDP but not the 880.  Shouldn't I get the 880 cr since it is my first completed round on new day?

Or, did I ff the 880 when I quit the round?

    Tom.
