  Currently I'm a level 80 TM and not sure what to do about geting the R9 TP 8.5° Driver (L80+)  as i have been told even thought it shows a faster meter than the G10's it is the same speed?? also is it worth it with the R11 avalible about level 88??

  I am noticing the L80+ R9 - is out performing the R11 on most holes.

  I would buy the L80 R9. I also notice once you get use to the faster meter then G10 irons become easier to hit as there meter seems slow , hope it helps

  For me it's the exact same meter speed as my G-10 irons.

  Speed feels the same to me too. And i noticed that the R9 is the same length on most holes as the R11's of my opponents

  I have all 3 top drivers and the R9 is the best of the 3  IMO. The R11 is nice but that meter is too slow after having used the R9 for so long. The R11 does match the G10s nicely but because it takes forever and a day to get to that level you would do well to grab the R9 now. Suncity is right as the R9 can hang with the R11.  GL

  Just to add to this conversation. I am at level 87. Should get to 88 by the end of the week. I am still using the 275yd R9. Is it worth upgrading or should I wait for something longer? Haven't made legend yet, so not a necessity at this time...

  Also if it helps: the worst part of my game is consistently hitting the fairway. are either of the top drivers slower than the 275 R9?

  The R11 matches the speed you have and is definitely a good choice for you. I suggest waiting for it. The other 2 longer drivers have faster meters.

  Ok. I'm an idiot. Forget everything I said. I owned the 275 yrd R9 NOT the 280 yrd R9. I remember when I reached level 80 I was going to buy but decided to just wait until 88 and get the R11. No wonder I like the 282 yrd R11 so much better!

  If you're talking about the level 80 R9 I beg to differ, DS. The level 80 R9 keeps stride with the R11. I've seen it firsthand in a Legend AS match. My opp had the R11 and I was hitting the R9. No more than 2-3 yards ever separated us in distance the entire match and it was balanced for who got further. It got to the point where I commented that I wasn't seeing a big difference in the drivers and he agreed. 

  What I do find fun to do with the R11, and this is probably why you get the good distance, is to play with the wind. Aim way left and miss late in a L to R wind to get the ball flying. That kind of stuff. The higher loft reacts to wind help and you get some serious yardage. I wouldn't say do this regularly but in the right conditions you could see some stuff!

  i want the level 62 275 driver cause mine is only 250 and my scores r sowing that i need a better driver, i am a level 69 pro with a 72.2 average.
