Should I play harder courses to hone my skills before I move up? That is what I am leaning towards. Your thoughts? Thanks.

The difference of Master tier is one notch longer, "Hard" instead of "Medium" tees, but same "very fast" green speed.

You are a L56 TP with a 67.6 average. Me thinks, you need not hone your skills
    - 30 and 33 scores are good enough!

Furthermore, your promotion (at 67.00 average) seems inevitable in a week or two.

You have decent equipment, only the irons may be a tad weak. Nevertheless, you might want to wait till L59 (88,000 XPs) to buy the G25s.

In the meantime, you might practice from the "hard" tees to see what will happen, or just dive in the fun of a new challenge!

I you want to "protect" your average (which will be reset and rise due to the harder conditions), you might want to enter a few unlimited tournaments (monthly and weekly) to allow for some buffer results under the familiar conditions, once you tiered up.

I am playing on my iPhone 6 Plus- do I still get a beer cart girl? Lol.

Alonso- I think I can get below 67 with s couple low rounds today if I get a chance to play with a house full of kids.  Thanks!

I am holding out for the Level 59 irons that Paul recommended a few days ago. Also thinking of a better putter.

I think you have done very well considering you have played less than 15 rounds per year over the last 8 years.

Try and play every course. The harder courses will help hone work skills. Play best of hardest and use the par 3 courses to learn the greens. Course management is crucial. Always try and leave yourself an uphill putt. If you choose to play all the courses you will move up when it is appropriate. have fun.

IMO, you should play all the courses and learn as you go. You won't be seriously challenged until you get to the back tees so enjoy the short time you have until you get there.  Play all over and let your average do what it will. :-)

While you do, you're also ethically obligated to inform her that the "plus" only refers to your phone and not to anything related to you personally... if you catch my drift. ;-)
