  Why is it, when I enter a "match play", and I am paired with a player at a higher raking, we tee off from the same tees and I get no strokes? We all have handy caps and it would seem you would have more balanced matches between different tiers if either tees, or strokes were taken into consideration.

  HI,

  I would answer that you do via tiers & hitting from shorter distance. No strokes nessesary, in my opinion

  After a grand total of 7 ranked rounds in over 3 years, and a ginormous total of 2 match plays in the same time period, I'm wondering "Who cares"!

  So now I am really confused. Rcently I played a "Match Play" against a Tour Master and I am Pro level. In this match we both hit from the Green tees and I didn't stand a chance due to his hitting distance. That is when I wondered why I wasn't allowed to hit from a different Tee box to make it more even. I just played someone a level below me and we did hit from different tees. WTFudge.

  Well, since there is not match play record of you vs Tour masters, I must assume you are playing in practice mode, not scored or challenge mode. In practice mode, bothplayers play from the same tees, in scored or challenge mode, players tee off their respective tier's tee level.
