    a question if i can?

if  i drive off do i have 15 seconds for my next shot?

    (sorry is this match play?)

It's not MP but the clock is the same, it starts when the ball stops and your avatar is beside it.

I shot a 26 with a 25 sec clock and I didn't use all the time too as I was kind of watching the clock before I hit.  I reckon I was hitting around the 15 second mark too.

All I can say is what a great round.  I am 68 years old with arthritic hands and 40 seconds is my limit.  Without the age and hands my skill would not allow a 56 with a 1 hour clock...lol

When I first started, I cut my teeth on Match Play..30 second clock. I play fast and 30 secs was plenty of time for me. I did receive a lot of complaints from more senior players about the short time.

As I consider this a social game, I moved to 60 secs, and now to 90 secs for Alternate. Lots of time to chat, etc.

I am still fairly quick, and it does bother me a bit when players take 80 secs to hit a 5 foot putt...but whatever.

IMO, 15 secs may be a bit short to become a popular selection.

Playing a 15 second clock well means you know the course and all it's conditions backwards forwards and sideways to a good standard, and can play uninterrupted.

Pretty niche market, but well done to anyone that does well in it.

Awesome rounds by those managing to even get under par.

As for the 56 - stunning! But if anyone can then the Fman can, ken?

Best I've managed thus far is being booted for a second 'bookable offence' on  the 5th. ;(

17.545  second clock and I reckon I'd be challenging the Mags fella...

Was a fun challenge though I'd agree 15 seconds is a bit tight.  It worked fine on most shots but I always wind up with a few that need a little "studying" and a few more seconds could've helped prevent some rushed shots.  Very happy with the round though and enjoyed the added pressure (a few of those shots just beat the clock lol).

Now I know there is some definite *** going on here.

Are you suggesting that people on wgt might have an auto-ding program??

with 15 sec timer ->no use of pitch grid method to calculate aim.

Jruler can still be used. But no time to look at paper or in spreadsheet.

Memory about windpower is good to have.

56 is not at all impossible with 15 sec clock.

Its only in high wind this 15 sec clock will harm you, else the scores will be close to what one normal shoots.

    I like this game format.

    Jimdog,

Yeah, well i know the courses really well too. But does that mean I can hit the ding everytime, or never have anything outside my control happen? Hell no! Just played a RG crusing along 5 under after 5, than all of a sudden I couldn't hit a *** side of a barn! I finish 5 under...YEAH *** RIGHT!  I don't know what the *** it takes to get shoot just the exact amount to win tournaments! tung in cheek!
