You can change the shot timer, and nobody is forcing you to play clashes or enter shot-clock derbies.
Check that, if someone is forcing you to play clashes, you're in the wrong club.
Fair enough but you miss my point, these are cynical attempts by wgt to get us to use up more ball hits therefore buying more balls $$.
I know the score I am not stupid.

Unfortunately WGT has not yet taken the advice from the players as to how to increase revenue as a business . For over the 5 years that I have been playing this game the people at WGT will not listen to the customers 98% of the time . You can moan curse vent scream rant quit playing whatever it will be to no avail .
WGT has yet to realize that all they have to do to increase revenue is fix the issues with the game . Improve the quality and game performance so the players can play . The more that we play the more balls that get used . The more balls that get used means more balls are purchased . This will result in an increase in revenue for the company .
When players are happy with the game they will also spend more on buying clubs playing in more RGs spending more all the way around . Its not rocket science in fact this is first year business application and product management . A good product that pleases the customer means a happy customer and a happy customer is a recurring and spending customer . But they have yet to realize that .
What they do realize is they have no legitimate competition. They don't have to put much thought or effort into improvements (which cost $$), if folks have nowhere else to go.
Most business models discussed are correct and seem obvious...but they are based on Company A taking, or keeping, customers away from Company B.
That aside, it certainly doesn't explain the whacky ideas they do come up with, under the guise of improving game play.
