That Auto-Caddy has got to go!

  I know the auto-caddy has always been a bit useless for many years but I'm sure he's gotten worse....maybe it's old age?

  I took a fair bit of time out from the game and have come back to find auto-caddy is even more diabolical than before, he selects the wrong club for me almost every stroke and has been known to switch my pre-selected club on occasions (the stubborn git). I think he's got it in for me. His mischief has cost me many tournaments so now I have him switched off.

  It seems a shame I had to get rid of him but he was more of a hindrance than a help BUT I can't understand why WGT would make the auto-caddy worse?Couldn't they make an improvement for once?
  
  I mean they added the completely irrelevant commentary that says "excellent shot" when my opponent lands 7 yards from the hole, yet when I land 1 yard away it's silent....anyway that's another discussion I suppose.

  You can turn the auto caddy off in the options. You can also turn off the commentary.

  Just miss the ding. No matter how long a drive is if it isn't dinged you don't hear "That's a huge drive" .

  That phrase wouldn't be so bad if it didn't sound like the guy is  angry because you hit such a long drive. It would sound much better if it were "Wow that's a huge drive" said as in awe.

  Yep, you get the huge drive commentary only on ding hits. Therefore, I kind of like hearing it.

  The "very nice shot" on the greens is a damning with faint praise kind of thing. You never hear it on on great shot, just a semi-passable one.

  The only commentary i hear is "oh...you better reload, we might not find that one" :-)

  Yes, I know.  I mentioned that in my original post
