If it is possible to exit the game and still have 12 seconds when you return then it makes the comp a complete farce! I don't know if it is because i haven't checked so i am asking if it is??   Can you  run the clock down to 1 sec and then exit to return to 12 seconds??  If that is the case then i won't be entering anymore.

I tried to play the 50c 12 second rg. I managed even through 6 holes. There is time to hit a drive, maybe line up a decent second shot but no time to line up a putt. Cant see how anyone could score decent on 12 second clock. the 20 second clock may be different. I did not try to go out and come back, but yes I have heard of that working. Some would cheat their grandmother and others would just say they were using what they were given.

i dont think it'll help you much. sure if you arent sure and down to one, you exit and save a penalty, but then u're back in the same spot, where you have to change aim, change club, and swing... as long as it's same for everyone, it should be OK. i dont think we can make it the way you want, but i do understand the concern.

?????????? Once you come back you already have your aim spot and distance worked out and more time to execute shot so yes it is a waste of time to enter.

The aim isn't a time taker. The distance is. It could be noted, exit, do calcs, and come back. Definitely something that needs to be fixed, if it's possible to do this.

If I had the time, I'd stream it, and try to exit on every approach, and putts, if needed.

Just to take away the opportunity for one (or many) to manipulate the timed RG's (and tourneys), why not remove them until they're fixed?

    EDIT*

Just tried, and succeeded in doing this in the Merion 15 sec. tourney. Played 3 holes (3 under), saving, calculating the shot, and resuming. Oh and I and quit the game.

Def needs to be looked into, and fixed.

Chris you have 50 sec phobia and need to see someone!!  This isn't about the credits at all.

Where i see that being an advantage Icon is the putting. You dont have time to reverse aim and come back and hit but if you can reverse and get an idea where to aim then come back in it would be a real advantage there.  I do love the concept of short timers  in ready go's very much. There must be a way to prevent coming back in on the same timer starting from the original time set.

Yes, thats why i said a farce, as it would give easy advantage when you reloaded game and more confidence where to aim putt/shot....Amd yes i do have a 50c ready go phobia.  Their not as much of a waste of space as UL but i rather a few $2 Any day.

Haven't tested it, but I've read people reporting long before this started, that if they save and restart a single play round 3 times, it disqualifies them the 4th time they start. That leads me to believe, that the number of possible save&quits is limited.
