  Hadn't played this course much lately until the last couple weeks.  I forgot how wonky some of the green reads are... funny views where you can't get a straight-on look from behind the hole.. and 6-8 foot putts where it looks like it's going one way on one view, and another way on another view...  4, 7 and 8 are particularly brutal.

  it was because of the nearly impossible to read greens on kiawah that i learned to use full shot mode on greens, takes about 2/3 of the break out of the equation.

  If they ever went back to remap the greens, Kia would be like getting a new course LOL.

  Playing Kiawah is good for seeing just how far WGT has come over the years., Could you imagine Pebble Beach or Chambers Bay with the same green characteristics as Kiawah?

  speaking of those courses, when will we ever get new pins for those courses? Even Kiawah has 2 sets of pins. WGT has not added a second set of pins to any course since Merion

  RSG and OLY are sitting there with one set of pins, too!

   

  Never heard a word about releasing those...

  RSG different pin sets have popped up on a couple of occasions, but terrible camera angles on some holes.

  That's new to me, and there's no "hole locations" choice in a practice game which would indicate "several sets".

  Which kind of game are you referring to?

  There was once a CTTH RG with different pins. Also Alanti posted in forums he got different hole locations in a CC tournament.

  According to a WGT employee on 15th June 2014, new pins for RSG and OLY will be coming in "The Future". I believe in WGT speak "The Future" is comparable to "Soon". http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/241460.aspx

  Also, if you scroll down to the 6th post on this thread from 11th Jan 2012, Icon commented on new RSG pins "it will take a while" which he appears to have been correct in saying as so far it's over 4-1/2 years and counting.
