    Hi!
On St. Andr. green #4 the fall sometimes looks different when you look from player or from the other side of the flag.
I.e. from player it shows fall to right, but from other side of flag it shows fall to left. This is close to the hole. My put today was only 4ft which I seldome miss. But I trusted the look from flag side, aimed to touch the hole, hit perfect and missed.
I have seen this several times that the fall on the green from player and from flag is inconsistence.

It should show that way-you're looking at it backwards. If something was wrong you would see the same fall direction in both views.

There was a discussion about differences in the views a while back and if I remember correctly either Nivlac or Icon suggested if there was a difference to trust the reverse view.

YJ - I think you know what he meant even if he didn't write it correctly.

I have seen the same problem on a few greens and all on St Andrews except for one on Kiawah.  Having said that, greens on other courses don't exactly do as the information says.  But the issue I have here is that it has only happened since I turned Tour Master.  In 4 months of playing before that never have I seen it before.  So, I think it is Tournament greens that have some inconsistencies.

I did sent in a bug report, but as ever WGT give absolutely no indication whether they know about this or that they are doing anything about it.

Yes I'm award of that. If not I would have missed most of my putts.
On this putt the view from the player seemed to be correct, But I used the one from the flag - lol.

No, I actually don't even after he responded. Maybe you could clear it up because I'm confused. What is he seeing/not seeing?

Jim, that would be extremely valuable info. It comes up on several courses - also Oakmont and Kiawah. I gave up submitting bug reports about it.

Of course another approach is to play no break at all and hit it a bit more firmly.
