i think we should do this:

consolidate all tournaments and tours into one big league.  let's decide on a point system and let everyone who wants to run a tournament run a tournament... with whatever format they want.

all tournament directors report the order of finish.  the more people who finish the tourney the more the prize money or points.  this might create a little compeitition with directors to run a well organized and exciting tournament people will want to participate in and finish.

we decide on a point system and a playoff and repeat every quarter.

Hi dorkfeatures, I actually created a community calendar just like that a few weeks ago with the hope that people creating new tournaments would come to me first. The community tournament section of WGT is very loose and quite often, random tournaments just pop up without rhyme or reason. And these tournaments end up being either huge tours or eight to sixteen player head-to-head tourneys, which are the majority of the community tournament section. Unfortunately, nobody came to my calendar before posting their tournament, and so I was not able to keep up my detailed calendar. However I am really excited to see EllisSpice continue working on his tourney list and applaud his continuous hard work.

Also, at TrevorTurner, most tournaments do not have start or end dates because sign-ups are usually open until a certain limit has been reached, and tournaments very rarely have specific dates by which each round must be played that do not change at some point or which are loosened to accomodate certain people.

The list is now up to date with new tourneys as of the 14th of September.

The winners and medal table will be updated at a later date.

Am alsp thinking about adding a black list/white list for tourneys runners. Sound like a good idea?

The list is now up to date as of the 20th of September, and the medal table will be updated at the end of the month.

Remember tourney runners, you can add your tourneys yourself with the form on the front page.

The list is now up to date as of the 23rd of September.

Also, I need ask the community a small question. Casique1 runs two tourneys on this site, but also runs them on another site. Seeing as this list is meant to be for tourneys run in this forums, should I keep them on the list or remove them?

Also, if they stay, can someone describe them to me? My German skills are non-existent!

    Hi Ellis,

I would remove them myself. Just clutters up the calendar really. Keep it to WGT tourneys on this site.

    Cheers Doug

All new tourneys have been added, but statuses and winners have not been updated for other tourneys.

You're a bit late. I just added it myself, so you didn't need to!
