We've all been there. At least mobile players. You're playing a 3 hole game in one of the rooms and you're on the third hole and about to win by a stroke, and you land your ball a yard from the pin.
Your opponent has an 8ft putt to tie the game and misses by inches. But instead of finishing out the game, lacking any sense of courtesy or etiquette, either forfeits, or worse let's the shot clock run out so you sit for a minute waiting for him/her to be disqualified.
Now that I'm up to level 80, it's going to take weeks to level up, and every precious XP point counts. But I've just wasted 10-15 minutes to get a measly 10 points, or less, because my opponent is a thoughtless bum. I could understand if he landed in the brush on the first hole and didn't want to waste strokes on his 600 credit ball trying to hack his way back to the fairway. But I don't understand why he'd quit a putt away from the finish with what is often a starter ball and costs him nothing.
Does he think that he's preserving his pathetic stroke average by quitting? Or punishing me by denying me my XP points?
WGT should program the game so players are not penalized by the rude and thoughtless actions of another player. Do you agree?
