Why do YOU play WGT

  I was starting question myself. Why do I play WGT every day. At first because it was cool. I played all of the Tiger Woods and then the Rory McIlroy video games on Xbox because I love the game of golf then I found WGT. My motivation was to get much better at it. I had fun reading and finding out what others do to improve their game. Calculators, explanations of the ins and outs, mapping your equipment, etc. So I reached Master level. I had been playing all of my CC tournaments and the Bracket tournaments but not the FEE tournaments. Since there are so many Legends and Champions it's next to impossible for me to crack the top 10 in a given tournament and win any prize. I realize I play to contribute to my current CC and share my tactics to newer members how I achieved the level that I'm at. So I'm asking because I need excitement to do much of any thing. A rush of sorts. Something that gets my adrenaline going.

  So with that said. What motivates YOU to keep playing?

  Even though it probably more addictive, it is much safer than heroin, and requires you to think a little while indulging!

  Yes I do agree part of the fun is the challenge and having to put your mind to the test. Thanks for your input Dan.

  Not that I play daily, but one reason I keep playing is like real golf......I never know what the next day may bring.

  Addictive yes, but the other ingredients are the game is not designed to be too easy and "get clocked" within a week. This probably deters the gamers, but keeps the golfers.

  The other is it has a great community - that is what makes WGT even better.

  Nothing.

  I've played only one hole in 2016 and have no desire to play again at this point. WGT has made it abundantly clear they don't want my business and I'm happy to oblige them.

  A group of us came here in June - August 2007 from another game, hoping this would be a long term fun place for us to be. The others have all left due to frustration with WGT management and mismanagement. I'm still here in the forums just so I can continue interacting with friends and acquaintances I've made since I got here.

  really pretty bird. i listen to my online radio station that i DJ on while i'm playing.

  i've driven the ball to that green on that hole. prob not the best idea to putt that long but it was cool to know i could.
