Several long time level 100+ club members have reported that their meter speed is changing after releasing the first click. This is not an issue of brushing the scroll bar, and all caches are clean and clear. This has been happening since the day after the last shutdown night.

Has anyone else heard about or experienced this issue?

    Thanks!

    TP

Excuse me, what do you mean by "meter speed"?

Is it the speed of the meter bar running down to the Ding? Or is it by chance the putting scale?

i hav erecently noticed that the speed of the meter changes when putting to....1st putt meter is much faster specially when its a birdie chance...when missed meter speed seems to revert back to normal speed....but i put it down to the great "realism" of the game...lol

Should have worded that better. The scale is changing mid putt. Going from 10 ft to 20 ft or 20 to 50. etc. Three people have reported this and they are all very good experienced players. It's not the finger brushing the scroll wheel, a low mouse battery or cluttered caches, those have all been eliminated.

I'm not totally sure this is what happened to me but in an AS match last night I had a 4 foot putt that did something for the first time ever. I have a mark on a piece of tape at 4 feet that has been foolproof for years. This time the putt acted like it was shot out of a cannon and the only thing that makes sense after seeing it was that the scale changed.

I have the sound on that switching clubs makes so I'm 100% sure I had the 15 scale up. It's the first thing I look to because I use avatar moves and the right scales are critical. I have no clue why what happened, happened and then I see this thread. Staying tuned.  :-)

p.s., I'd love to see the look on the faces of players that have this happen. I know mine was contorted. LOL

i definitely have noticed that the moving dots  on putts especially under 15' , have different movements from the front view to the reverse view , almost 90% of the players i've played since the last maintenance have noticed it too   especially legends like myself.,  don't understand  WHY., ....AL

Very strange issue. One that I cannot recall ever hearing of.

Best of  luck finding a resolution. Maybe contact WGT directly?

I don't know why either but I've seen it do that since I first started playing some years ago.

I use it to my advantage and putt from the view that shows me the least break.
