Leroy and i just finished our "doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but it's still fun to get out and play" match. :)

However it was important on a couple of notes....

    1)we love to play

2)we love to meet new people

    3) Leroy got CTTH on 11 I think.....he was 3.8 feet (heck of a shot, bounced it on the front of the green and rolled it up)

Was a pretty close match all around, no one was ever more than 2 up/down. (I got to 2up on 7, but had to concede 8)

Leroy's putter was solid for the majority of the match, and mine let me down, down the stretch.

HoylakeHunter (woodLake) def. Bigknight (Cosa Nostra) 1up

enjoyed the match Leroy, best of luck moving forward

I think I can speak for all of Cosa Nostra when I say we've enjoyed attempting to defend our title from last year. On top of keeping our already very active club talking and cheering each other on, we've all enjoyed playing against some other top notch golfers from the other clubs. We will happily applaud the victor once all this is done, but we'll still be smiling and taking selfies in our clubhouse with our trophy from the inaugural event ;)

Good luck, and thanks for another spectacular tourney

Cheers guys, well done to the both of you for getting the match in....sounds like a fun round!

Hat's off to all those making the next round.  Each of the teams we ran in to were well represented by their players and I'm sure we will all be watching to see the outcome.  Best of luck to all remaining teams & thanks again to the organizers for an absolutely awesome event!  The two WC competitions have easily been the most enjoyable/challenging events I've taken part in over my entire wgt experience!

    Brilliant post, BK.

Great attitude...  even if you just had to get the Comfy Blanket in at the end  :)
