  I read in the forums that putts are not counted as hits but in the last few months I lost 7 to 10 balls after a putt.is that why the putting has been so bad lately ?

  If you take a putt and get the new ball brought into play then I'd submit a report to WGT as this is very much wrong.

  I've had balls replaced when on the green but that was always after my approach shot, never after a putt.

  Unless the putt is from the fringe...these count as hits to my knowledge,

  Not so sure on that and have never taken too much notice, but it would make sense that the ball is replaced after the putt - so the approach would be the last recorded hit on the ball as putts do not count, and the ball is then replaced on the tee as you can do in real golf.

  I got 1 hit left pop up once on the 18th hole when I was on the fringe. I made the putt from the fringe and the ball was still showing in my inventory after that. Just to confirm it wasn't due to cache ,after that I played a round of best of putting and still had the ball in play.

  Ball strikes on putts only count when either putting from the fringe or approach or when using the mulligan feature . When using the mulligan ball strikes count is doubled -2 hits on the ball . This decreases ball life faster for the player and ball sales faster for WGT .
