mine was Ok before the update, strangely im now having meter stutters about 4 times a 9 hole game......mine has not been this bad for ages !!!!!

I'm not experiencing any stutters...so what has changed on your side?

    hey pete,

you know when you watch the meter come down and your about to hit your shot and stops half way up the bar.....it ruins a good scorecard :(

its not been as bad today but not as good as it was before the update...

forgot to say im on firefox and with my powerful imac i should be able to bring home the MARS probe thats just crashed landed :)

    Howzit Steviex2

I know what you're saying, but I'm not seeing that. I'm using Firefox 49.0.1 with Flash 23.0.0.185

I have a reasonable laptop with an average DSL connection.

The on;y thing that suddenly started happening but seems to have been fixed since last night when I played, is that when I would move the dot on the ball to get back spin, the click wouldn't "release"

Meter is smooth, well as smooth as can be with The Clash going on...

    :-)

After further review I think I might have an idea what happened.

How many of you having Firefox issues are using an older computer running XP like myself? Apparently Mozilla announced a few months ago that XP systems would no longer run their browser properly. They recommend Opera which I will try when I get home. Also the timing didn't make sense as I played with no issue wed. Morning after the update.

Thank you very much! I did as you recommended and it's working good again. I do have to reload all my add on stuff, if i can find them all, been quite a while since I had installed them. But thank you very much!

Here's my current dilemma with Firefox. Worked perfectly yesterday but obviously not the case today.
Switched to Ice Dragon after by buddy Ron told me about it.  It's a similar platform to FF but it has less clutter.  And, all FF add-on work with Ice Dragon.  Meter has been butter smooth and shooting some good golf again.

    Hi guys

Came home from work today after a long week, wanted to play, just to find out that is was still the same on Firefox, skipping frames meter stutter backspin not releasing. Now I'm not a tech guy, but here is my opinion on how come we got these problems.

I tried to play on both Chrome and Edge browsers, no problems at all, but Firefox still makes golf unplayable.

When you start up the game window also start up task monitor (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) when starting the game window in Firefox notice under the background tap that 2 Adobe flash player procesces starts up or already is there, and now when you start to play the memory usage almost explode in one of the flash player modules, uses almost 250 mb of memory. I think that is why the stuttering occurs.

Now try starting Chrome and look in task monitor, no problems what so ever.

So my guess is that there is a conflict between Flash player and Firefox.

Just posting this if it could help some of you guys.

    Take care and chill out.

I was having the same problems, even lost 4 Max balls (ouch) and saw your post re Ice Dragon - loaded it and brought the average down - thanks so much!

I'm on chrome and meter is terrible compared to before the update.

Game not really playable for me at the moment.

Might have to take a break.

The game is unplayable using the Firefox browser

For me it is the same. The current Firefox 49.0.1 no longer works. The meter often does delay the recognition of the mousclick. So the ball misses to the right. The Problem is even worse when putting. I solved my problem by switching to Microsoft Edge. I spoke with another member of my Country Club. For him Firefox sitll works normally.

My Computer is a relatively new HP Desktop with Core i5 CPU and 12 GB Ram. It came with Windows 8.1. I am now using a fresh installation of Windows 10 on a second disk.

You guys having the issue of the late registering click?

I had that problem ^^ for months when using waterfox. I switched to chrome and it went away. I tried waterfox again earlier today and still get the misding every 9-18 holes.
